The concept is possible, depending on your situation. The roof can stay if you wish. All that remains is no longer supported on the outside. However, the most important thing to consider is the existing definition is sufficient to reduce the weight of the new platform, which carry live the actual weight of the material and load up again, are these people and furniture and snow possible. I would like a contractor, at least watch, preferably an engineer.
